Hosted annually by the Blacksheep Mountain Biking Club, the Shuniah Forty Miner Mountain Biking Festival brought riders together in Thunder Bay on September 12–13, 2026. Relive the weekend through two galleries celebrating the competitors and their time on the trails.
The Mini-Miner gallery puts the festival’s young racers in the spotlight, capturing moments from their race-day adventures and celebrating their place in the mountain biking community.
The main Shuniah Forty Miner event challenged riders over 60, 40, 20, and 13 km distances, testing their endurance and mountain biking skills. Explore photos taken at a variety of locations along the course to spot familiar faces and revisit the racing.
