2026 XTERRA Sleeping Giant brought a weekend of off-road racing to Thunder Bay. Saturday featured Kids Triathlon events for ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 12 at Boulevard Lake. On Sunday, the early morning start of the main event took athletes from Boulevard Lake onto the cycling trails of Centennial Park and Shuniah Mines, followed by a 5 km running loop near Kinsmen Park and Trowbridge Falls.
