Duluth East Greyhounds vs Timmins Majors
Game 15 at the 2026 Border Battle Cup saw the Duluth East Greyhounds earn a 5 to 2 win over the Timmins Majors U15 AAA on February 14 at 5:15pm EST at the Tournament Center in Thunder Bay.
Duluth set the pace in the opening period with goals from Bauer Obester and Kallan Peterson to take a 2 to 0 lead. The Greyhounds widened the gap in the second with two short handed goals from Rocco Paine and Connor Martinson, shifting full momentum to the away bench. Peterson added his second of the night later in the period to cap a three goal surge.
Timmins responded on the power play in the second with a goal from Hayden Horbul and added another power play marker in the third from Vincent Lamarche. Despite the push, Duluth managed the game through the final frame, controlling special teams and closing out a disciplined 5 to 2 victory.
