Halloween night brought more than costumes and candy. It brought football intensity to Fort William Stadium as the 2025 SSSAA Senior Varsity Semi Finals kicked off under the lights.
The evening opened with the Hammarskjold Vikings facing the St. Patrick Fighting Saints. Both teams entered hungry for a shot at the championship. The Saints pressed hard early, but the Vikings answered with steady drives and strong defensive coverage. Momentum shifted throughout the game as each side battled for every yard.
In the second matchup, the Westgate Tigers clashed with the St. Ignatius Falcons. The Tigers’ passing game tested the Falcons’ secondary, while the Falcons’ offense found rhythm through quick, disciplined plays. The crowd stayed loud as both teams pushed through to the final whistle.
The night marked the end of the road for two teams and secured the championship berth for two others. The stage is now set for the SSSAA Senior Varsity Football Final.
