Rain set the stage for Week 5 of SSSAA Junior Varsity football. The opening game saw the St. Patrick Fighting Saints go head-to-head with the Hammarskjold Vikings on a soaked artificial turf. Both teams battled through slippery footing and wet conditions that forced quick adjustments and extra focus on every possession.
The second matchup featured the Westgate Tigers against the St. Ignatius Falcons. As rainfall intensified, the turf surface turned slick and fast, demanding sharp concentration from every player. Receivers fought to secure passes while defenders closed gaps on unstable footing. Despite the weather, both games showed the same drive and toughness that define the season.
