Biathlon Canada in partnership with Sea to Sky Nordic hosts the 2026 World Junior and Youth Championship trials at Whistler Olympic Park from January 14 to 19. Junior and youth athletes from across the country race for limited roster spots. Every clip of ski and every shot on the range matters.
You will see galleries from training sessions, zeroes, and race days. You will recognize moments of control in standing, speed in prone exits, and resilience on long courses. Weather shifts in Whistler add tension to the shooting bouts and ski pacing.
You get a full record of the pursuit of national selection. Images capture technical skill, pacing decisions, and the mental fight at the range.

2026 BiCAN WJY Trials - Training Day

Coaches assisted with zero work and ski selection for the snow conditions. At the end of the day, the field now turns attention to tomorrow’s sprint race.
